Over Traded a Bit to Close Out the Week

I saw some setups early and made some moves. My first trade was for a loss. I was watching the wrong trade when the room was jumping on a really clean move. Soon after that I found a little groove and started taking some high flying stocks. To be honest, at the end of the day I really felt like I overtraded. I actually had over 54 orders on the day. This includes scale outs but still. Way more trades than yesterday.

I think this would have been my biggest day yet as a day trader until I ran into ZM problems. Wrong place at the wrong time but I was able to not get crushed.

Trades Taken

I’m not sure why I traded BLPH this morning. It wasn’t on my radar. I made the move based on the room I’m in and it failed real quick after entry.

BLPH Profit and Loss = $27.41

I was looking a SAVA yesterday and it was another stock people were looking at but it was something that wasn’t playing out so I bailed quickly for a small loss.

SAVA Profit and Loss = $3.30

BYND gave me a nice pullback play and I made out with a nice trade without much pain. The rest of the day made it hard to trade BYND

BYND Profit and Loss = $74.76

CODX was a call in the room and had a nice setup building but it just didn’t do what we were looking for.

CODX Profit and Loss = $9.12

The room was calling for a break on APT but this didn’t go off as planned. I got out with a small win.

APT Profit and Loss = $4.88

I traded Zoom a few different times today. I was up over $100 on the stock and saw some great moves. If it wasn’t for the rug pull around 3:00 pm today I would have been set up for a great afternoon. FB decides to get in their space and everyone jumped ship. I jumped out the trade with a pretty strong loss and more than what I would have had on a normal bad trade. The stock fell over 8 points in minutes.

ZM Profit and Loss = $16.00

My favorite stock right now is TSLA. I have to be careful with my early entries but if it sets up right the moves on this thing are awesome. I was able to trade it a few times with some nice moves.

TSLA Profit and Loss = $79.05

I was looking at ROKU all morning. It has some strength behind it but it seems it was losing steam. I decided to take a break of a half number and then I tried again. I went one of two for a small loss. I moved on from ROKU after the second trade was over.

ROKU Profit and Loss = $13.89

Overall it was a great week of trading. I ended in the green today and for the week. I found some good setups and got out early on the bad ones. I think there is some real hope here. I’m building confidence and this will continue to grow as I keep trading. I look forward to next week. I will be studying this weekend.
