Besides missing the one trade I really wanted by a couple of pennies, I pretty much had a flat day. I wasn’t very comfortable with some of the setups I was seeing and figured it was best to sit on the sidelines than taking guesses. This is something I probably wouldn’t have done back in the day.
Trades Taken Today
I had WORX on my watchlist from yesterday but wasn’t really paying much attention to it during the moves in the morning. One of the moderators called WORX through 10 which was the whole number right below the high of the day. There were two things working here and I was comfortable with this setup. I entered the trade with small share size and it went in my favor but not by much. The price move ended up failing so I sold my shares. It then attempted later at the high of the day and this is when I got back in. The price action did move in my favor but I was selling shares to quickly. The price moved up almost .60 from there. By the time both of these trades were over, I ended up with a $16 loss.
WORX – Profit and Loss = -$16.00
I totally missed the whopper today on NURO. This trade was in the palm of my hands but my order skills and lack of a good platform kept me out of this move. I had placed a limit order around 2.78 as it was clearing the highs of the day. It passed me by and although it came back down to my order price it never touched it. This was very unfortunate. As you can see in the chart what happened after entry.
Later in the morning, I did take a pullback trade on NURO which paid off without any pain. It came down to my bid and picked me clean. Priced moved up and I got a small win. This brought me back in the green for the day.

NURO – Profit and Loss = $38.00
Total Profit and Loss = $22
Final Thoughts
This was definitely a fairly boring day of trading but that comes with the territory. Sticking to my new rules and playing defensively kept me out of some potential losing positions. It also made me miss a couple of trades but I can live with that. Tomorrow is another day of trading so I’ll do my best to take advantage.
